What nuisance camera mobile phones have become. I personally dislike it also because getting a picture taken used to be an event, full of anticipation and excitement. One can barely wait for the reel to get over and get them printed. The almost unnecessary hurry to finish the reel with seemingly unimportant pictures simply caz you have clicked some good ones, and you can’t wait to see them.
Photography used to be an art then, very much like music or painting. Now everyone with a Nokia N series is a photographer, its almost like there’s no sanctity left in it. Art for me is an expression devoid of anything materialistic. Camera mobile phones fail the very purpose of photography as an art. There were times when pictures were “memories”, now they are “moments”.

Hello, my name is William. I don't own a phone that has the ability to take pictures.. I have a camera
for that purpose only.
I read your comment, great work, right to the point.
Photography is an ART, it will always be an ART to me and of course you ..
I own a Nikon D70.. 6.1mpixls.
I may take 50 or more in a day and
come up with 5, maybe I like...
Please feel free to visit my blog,
it's photos only, I leave the commentary to those who wish to visit.
Thank you,
William,
Peace.......... :)
I apologise for missing the point.
I did think that the use of these phones in the way their used, spoils what photography is all
about.....
William.... :)
